Your safari begins with a warm welcome from your professional Trevor Tour Safaris Africa guide in Entebbe or Kampala. After a comprehensive safari briefing, travel north through Uganda’s scenic countryside to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the country’s only sanctuary for wild white rhinos.
Following lunch, enjoy a guided walking safari where you’ll observe these magnificent animals at close range while learning about Uganda’s successful rhino conservation programme.
After breakfast, depart Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and travel north through Uganda’s diverse landscapes toward Kitgum, the gateway to Kidepo Valley National Park.

Travel through picturesque tea plantations, crater lakes, and rolling hills before arriving at your forest lodge nestled within one of Africa’s richest tropical rainforests.
After breakfast, enjoy one of Uganda’s premier wildlife experiences—tracking wild chimpanzees through Kibale Forest.
Accompanied by experienced rangers, you’ll search for habituated chimpanzee families while also encountering several monkey species and colorful forest birds.
Following lunch, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for dinner.

Today’s highlight is the unforgettable Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience.
Following a ranger briefing, trek through Bwindi’s ancient rainforest in search of one of the habituated gorilla families. Depending on their location, the trek may take between 2 and 8 hours.
Once located, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
After the trek, continue to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing evening.
Spend a relaxing day enjoying one of Africa’s most scenic lakes.

Depart after breakfast and travel through southwestern Uganda toward Lake Mburo National Park.
Pass rolling hills, cattle ranches, and the bustling town of Mbarara before arriving at your safari lodge inside or near the park.
Begin the day with a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger, offering an intimate wildlife experience among zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands, and antelopes.
