Ngamba is one of the few places in the world where you get to have a once-in-a-lifetime interaction and experience with chimpanzees. It is reached by a 1 hr boat ride during which you also cross the equator; you experience feeding and taking care of the chimps, and you can also do a forest walk with the chimps. The caregivers are very caring and welcoming to both the visitors and the chimps. If you are staying overnight, the food and services are fantastic. The flora, fauna, and setting of the island are also very captivating.
