After an early breakfast, transfer to the Kinigi Park Headquarters for a briefing by Rwanda Development Board ranger guides before setting off into Volcanoes National Park in search of one of its habituated mountain gorilla families.
Trek through bamboo forests and volcanic slopes accompanied by experienced trackers, and upon locating the gorillas, spend one magical hour observing these magnificent primates as they feed, groom, play, and interact in their natural habitat before returning to your lodge for a well-deserved evening of relaxation.

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park – Lake Kivu

Following breakfast, depart Volcanoes National Park and enjoy a scenic drive to the beautiful shores of Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s largest freshwater lakes.
Upon arrival, embark on a relaxing boat cruise across its tranquil waters while admiring spectacular views of surrounding mountains, fishing villages, and small islands before visiting a local coffee plantation to learn about Rwanda’s renowned coffee production and enjoy a freshly brewed cup.

Later, check in to your lakeside lodge and spend the evening relaxing beside the lake.
